I’m someone that’s been into Warhammer 40k since I was a kid, and started painting my first army of minis in the early 2000s. Obviously I enjoyed learning and playing the game itself, but let’s all be honest, half of the fun is collecting all the little guys for your army. Bonus points if you get around to painting them all. Painting and especially kit-bashing really drew me in to the hobby.
Later down the line I was studying architecture and learned about 3D printing. I ended up buying a 3D printer with the full intention of printing things for my degree… Then I proceeded to print nothing but minis for D&D and Warhammer 40k. And so my collection of little guys continued to grow exponentially.
Then Covid hit and we were all stuck in lockdown. What better to do than spend that time printing and painting? It was during lockdown that my passion for printing and painting truly awakened.
After spending some time in the construction industry, I decided I wanted to pursue 3D printing properly. Since then I’ve been slowly building up my business. My aim is to provide a range of quality products for people, ranging from minis for wargaming and D&D, to the physical manifestation of product design for professionals.

There are two main types of 3D printing: Filament (FDM) and Resin.
Back when I started studying architecture, FDM was the main type of printing available. But over time resin printing became more readily available, and I was amazed at the amount of insane detail the printers could produce.
FDM is certainly cheaper and produces very durable results, but it is relatively slow to print and limited in the amount of detail it can produce. There is also the tedious process of sanding every print to have a smooth surface.
Resin printing has been revolutionary in the 3D printing world. It’s fast, high quality and can produce extremely detailed structures at even the smallest sizes.
I always use the latest in damage-resistant resins, such as ABS-like resins on the market. These are incredibly durable, and flexible enough for a life-time of use. Thin and typically fragile elements such as spears/tails can now withstand bumps and bruises.
